BISE Lahore Matric Date Sheet 2017

Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary education has publicized the date of release of date sheet for Matric examination 2017. The date sheet will be announced in the month of February, just a month before the actual examinations. Date sheet can be downloaded online once it is declared by the Board. Usually the Matric exams are held in the mid of March and they extend to the month of April depending on the choice of subjects chosen. Usually Science group’s exams are extended to the first week of April, due to additional practical examinations. The students are required to submit their registration forms in the months of November-December so that their roll numbers can be issued by the Board in time.

The results of of Matric Examinations are usually announce in the mid of July or towards the start of August. While Intermediate Examination’ results are declared in the end of August. BISE Lahore also offers supplementary examinations as a chance of improvement for failed students and those who wish to improve their obtained marks. Usually three chances are awarded to students per year to improve their grades. Supplementary examinations For Matric students are usually held in September-October and their registration starts in the month of August. Roll numbers for the registered students are also issued by the end August a few weeks before the commencement of supplementary examinations.

Both regular and private (home schooled) students are allowed to register for the examination by BISE Lahore. The registration fee structure for Private and Regular students vary a little, however. For Science group, the free structure is as follows;

Private Students:
Class 9th: 
 Rs 700/-
Class 10th: Rs 1595/-
Composite (Combined 9 and 10):
 Rs 2245/-

Regular Students:
Class 9th: 
 Rs 1045/-
Class 10th: Rs 1645 /-
Composite (Combined 9 and 10):
 Rs 2245/-

For Arts goup the fee structure is;

Private Students:
Class 9th: 
 Rs 650/-
Class 10th: Rs 1545/-
Composite (Combined 9 and 10):
 Rs 2145 /-

Regular Students:
Class 9th: 
 Rs 995 /-
Class 10th: Rs 1595/-
Composite (Combined 9 and 10):
 Rs 2145/-

Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is an established education governmental body located in Lahore. It was established firstly in the year 1954. At first, the Board was set up for the whole province, Punjab, when it was first established. But a few years later, effectively due to a very large turnout of candidates appearing in examinations, the board was divided into parts to cover different regions more. Currently 9 Board systems are active in Punjab. The regions that come under BISE Lahore are Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib respectively.

Around 2.5 million students are registered for examinations under this board every year, making BISE Lahore one of the biggest educational organizations of the country. Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore, as is evident from its name, monitors and examines both the student of Matric and Intermediate level every year and also provide a variety of combinations of subjects for intermediate, namely

Pre-Medical
Pre-Engineering
Computer Science
Commerce
General Science
Arts

Whereas on Matriculation level, two combinations are offered: Science and Arts.
